    First comes the rush of the guitar, then the drums pound like vibrations of a familiar past, out pour the vocals with a fresh sound to what we all can love: classic rock. Originating from the depths of Los Angeles, Snatch Magnet has gained a toxic reputation; their Myspace page fully infused with an atmosphere of rock and an underpinning to their party hard philosophy. With a magnetically clever name, it is no surprise L.A. party folk have already began to levitate to these guys. The band has a promising rhythmic talent to bring heartland rock—with a mix of metal—to their music.  Snatch Magnet is an explosion of music and fashion influence that may remind one of the 80's classic rock era; but with a modern twist intertwined with the past. As one listens to the sweet and juicy sounds of Snatch Magnet, one can’t help but bust out their best air guitar and rock their drunken socks off!

    Before becoming mavens of rock, the band was just a group of friends that all hung out. The initial idea of Snatch Magnet started in 2006, in hopes that four friends can join forces and collaborate to create a talented band. They put aside their diverse mix of musical influences and put their love for music to good use. With a fan base still growing by the masses, the band pleases their audience with additive sonic sounds. Everyone seems to love rock as much as the guys do, and one can’t help but experience a sense of joie du vivre when listening to the tunes of this crazed band. With a clear outlook on their target audience, the men of Snatch Magnet just want to magnetize all those who love to party, and simply love to live the rock n' roll lifestyle.

      Every rock band has their fun, but it also comes with hard work and many obstacles. The guys have hit some rough patches, just like any aspiring band out there. From the tragedy of an injured band mate, however, the guys still managed and stepped up to fill the empty spots. With an ability to conform to troubling times, the guys still rage the stage with up roaring entertainment. The band just loves music; with a mixture of musical tastes they have all somehow managed to form a band that progressively gives off a clean and put-together vibe. With a five member band now, the 26-31 year old musicians have headway into a better future that can give the fans a confident set of propitious songs to rock out to.   

    Though Snatch Magnet has come a long way to get to where they are now, they have far more goals to effectuate this coming year. With new changes, comes new beginnings and the guys have been ruthlessly working on their latest major project till the depths of night. One day after another, the band has been loyally working on their seven track demo, hoping to make groundbreaking and quality tracks.  The world famous California Sound Studios assists in every way, mixing and mastering to make the best quality demo money can buy. Though on an unclear path of what to name the demo, the guys are rather more interested in developing a small western tour. They have recently been rallying up a couple of rightful candidates to take on the road with them, finding as many venues as possible to play at. With a tour on the way, and a demo in the making it’s safe to say these guys have found the perfect balance to market their band, yet still keep intact their lovelorn rock/metal genre of music and have a wicked time doing it.
